What is 2fas.online?
2fas.online is a free online authenticator for accounts that support time-based one-time passwords (TOTP). Paste a setup key to see the current code immediately. Saving a profile is optional, and you can leave the name empty. You can keep several profiles in one place.
Built around your browser
There is no registration or server-side profile database. The browser calculates codes and stores your profiles locally. The server renders the interface; it does not receive your keys or generated codes. We use a LiveInternet counter for visit statistics.
A few deliberate choices
- Codes and countdowns are visible as soon as your saved profiles load.
- You can rename, edit, reorder and delete profiles.
- Backups are password-encrypted before they are downloaded.
- English and Russian pages, light and dark themes, and a system theme option are available.
- After a successful first load, a supported browser can cache the site for offline use.
Understand the boundaries
Local storage is convenient, but it is not an encrypted vault. Access to your browser data can expose your keys. Profiles are tied to this browser, device and site address. They do not sync automatically. Keep a separate encrypted backup and your service’s recovery codes.
2fas.online is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with Google, Microsoft or the services whose accounts you add. Those services must support standard TOTP; not every type of two-factor authentication does.
